Year 7 girls raised money for Lepra on Thursday 9th February as they took part in a sponsored Zumba session in the hall.
This year the girls dressed up with an Under the Sea theme as some even tried their hand at the Zumba in goggles and flippers! Students of the school have raised over ten thousand pounds over recent years for the charity which helps Leprosy sufferers in the developing world.
Lepra fundraiser Yasmina spoke warmly of the enthusiasm of the girls. ‘Lepra has a long standing relationship with SLGGS and the girls did themselves proud today.’
