ABSENCE PERIODS FOR COVID-19 AND OTHER RESPIRATORY / VIRAL INFECTIONS

Current Government advice is that COVID-19 should be treated like any other respiratory infection. If your child has symptoms of a respiratory or viral infection, such as COVID-19, and they have a high temperature or do not feel well enough to come to school or carry out normal activities, they should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they no longer have a high temperature (if they had one) or until they feel well enough to attend school.

Your child may wish wear a face covering upon their return if they are concerned about the possibility of passing a virus on to others, however, this is in no way mandatory.
