School Voluntary Fund
In addition to our curriculum provision, we also offer a rich and wide-ranging programme of extra-curricular activities. We try to ensure that students spend their time in a stimulating environment and have plenty of opportunities to explore new things.
The Simon Langton Girls’ School Voluntary Fund (‘school fund’) is a registered charity (charity number: 1155646) which has been established to raise funds to support the provision of activities and resources not provided for by central government funding. It generates much needed money that makes a real difference to the educational experience of our students.
In recent years, the school fund has been able to provide funding for items such as:
- Running costs of school minibuses
- New musical instruments
- New football goals
- New table tennis tables
- Sports competitions & affiliation fees
- School productions
- School competition entries
- Visiting lecturer expenses
- School events
- Assisting individual pupils (in exceptional circumstances)
If you are able to contribute towards our school fund, we would be extremely grateful. All donations help to provide the students with additional opportunities and play an important role in the day-to-day life of the school.
You can download a donation for HERE. Any contribution you can make, be it as a one-off payment or a standing order, will make a difference. If you are also able to indicate that you agree to the Gift Aid Declaration, your donation will make even more difference as we will receive additional income from the tax paid on the donation.
Thank you in advance for any contributions you are able to make.
