Orwell Youth Prize

We are delighted to share the fantastic news that two of our students were shortlisted as finalists in the Orwell Youth prize for writing this year. Anoushka from Year 11 and Lydia from Year 8 both attended the celebration day at UCL, taking part in a creative writing workshop lead by John Bernard.

They also met Orwell’s son, Richard Blair, and shared their work with an audience, before the announcement of the winners, runners up and highly commended entries. Please find both entries below for you to read.
