Music Department News!

A brand-new academic year and lots of music already happening in school! Our first bit of exciting news for the year too - following application and interview we have been chosen to be a lead school in the Kent & Medway music hub as part of the newly created schools advisory group - helping to support music making opportunities across Kent and Medway!

Kent Music: "Kent Music is the Hub Lead Organisation (HLO) for the Kent & Medway Music Hub. As HLO, Kent Music works closely with schools, colleges, cultural organisations and other partners to ensure that children and young people across Kent and Medway have access to high quality music education in and out of school. The Lead Schools Advisory Group meets 4 times a year to support the Hub’s strategic thinking and approach to supporting music making activities in schools."
