Langton Textiles super-curricular competition 2025
BackLangton Textiles super-curricular competition 2025
Year 7 and 8 students were challenged to enter an independent textiles competition in school to showcase their textiles skills. Students had 6 weeks to produce their own designs based on the theme of "Winter Wonderland" and make their design. A huge range of techniques such as crochet, knitting, sewing, garment construction and patchwork were seen in entries; the standard was exceptional.
The competition was organised by Shanya in Year 9 as part of her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award for volunteering. Prizes included Hobbycraft vouchers, certificates and house points.
Congratulations to all the entrants!
