Textiles Talk - Careers

As part of the Textiles and Fashion Pathway, we invited Daniel Heath from UCA to speak to our Year 10, 12 and 13 Textiles students.

Daniel is a craftsman and printmaker with commission textiles work all over the world. Students were inspired to hear about his work at the Tokyo Olympics for Team GB, and his upcycling designer role on the BBC show 'The Repair Shop'. Daniel answered questions and spoke to the students about his successful career choices.

Hannah from Year 13 commented: "He showed me opportunities that I had never considered before and opened my eyes to where textiles can lead".
